VINTAGE FESCO PLASTIC STORAGE BIN- WASTE BASKET-HAMPER Turquoise + FLOWER POWER

This amazing FESCO U.S.A. storage bin / hamper / waste basket numbered Y-123 on the reverse is PERFECT example of "Flower Power" motifs on vintage housewares.  First of all, it's TURQUOISE!!!  But the addition of those  funky retro slightly incised daisies similar to those used on the sets of 'Laugh-In' and 'The Dating Game' puts the design over-the-top!  Small inset dowels on each side of the lid allow it stay open.  Grooved checkered design on the lid (note the extended "handle" 2nd from the right - photo #3 - genius!) and the vertical "stripes" on the front add a bit of artistic interest.      With the lid closed, piece measures 11 3/4" vertically, 10 7/8" horizontally at LID level (extends a bit from the body), and 7 3/4" wide at the body.  There is a bit of normal (but barely visible) color variations from age mostly on the lid.  And, as pictured, there are a couple fine cracks on the base. This, however, would not be an issue unless liquid was placed inside.  After roughly 70 years this blast-from-the-past is in great condition, ready to be 'RESCUED' and used once again or given a new life as a MOVIE or TV PROP!!
