Vintage Baby Hard Plastic Rattle Knickerbocker Yellow Rooster with Blue Hat
In mold mark Knickerbocker.
Good condition for its age, see all photos.
The last photo is for viewing only and is of a few jars of my collection I am selling off.
FYI: All of these Baby Rattles come from my personal collection of many years. I would fill large antique glass candy jars with them. Each turn of the jar would show different rattles.
As with play things of the past that have been used and abused by children expect to see dings, scratches, cracks, and everything else you'd expect with plastic toys. I will describe any damage as found.
I would like to mention that I see a lot of listings stating their rattles are "Celluloid" when indeed they are hard plastic. Sellers have them mislabeled and are just repeating the same error over & over. Celluloid plastic went out of favor for toy use in the 1940s sometime. Most of what you find on ebay are from the 1950s and up....they are a hard plastic. I do have a couple that are celluloid and will state so when listing them.
